• LOTS of VAST capacitors (can be obtained from lots of CRTs degauss circuits)
• Hi-voltage generators (photographic flashes, single-use cameras, degauss circuits)
• Medium-size relays that are able to handle thousands of volts
• Slotted optical switches (CZ: optické závory) for multi-staged coilgun
• Wire
• Barrel
• Nails (and similar “ammo”)

• SCRs (Tyristors or power IGBTs) - Relays are not such powerful and most of energy is wasted at their contacts
