Because computer controlled drills/milling machines are awesome. Having one will expand our potential to create useful stuff.

We will see when RepRap is done. We will probably need some design modifications, as the milling head will need to be holden much stiffer because it needs to apply pressure against the material and may have different dimensions compared to extruder head.
