+===== Calendar Usage =====
+Brmlab Events Calendar is backed by [[https://www.dokuwiki.org/plugin:davcal]] plugin which is far from perfect. However from all the calendaring solutions we tried, this one has a few features which make it worth using:
+  * support for recurring events (if you want one in the calendar, contact [[user:joe]]
+  * CalDAV interface - you can find the link for your user by clicking the "settings/sync" link underneath it as the "CalDAV URL" value
+  * ICS URL - again, just click the "settings/sync" link in the same place and look for the "Private URL" key
+For both CalDAV and ICS interfaces, you need to use your wiki credentials. None of these work for anonymous users. However we are looking into the possibility of making the ICS URL available to public as well.
+If you are logged in, you can add your event by clicking the appropriate day in the calendar and just use the (very simple and intuitive) user interface that pops up.
