Hardware
- LOTS of VAST capacitors (can be obtained from lots of CRTs degauss circuits)
- Hi-voltage generators (photographic flashes, single-use cameras, degauss circuits)
- Medium-size relays that are able to handle thousands of volts
- Slotted optical switches (CZ: optické závory) for multi-staged coilgun
- Wire
- Barrel
- Nails (and similar “ammo”)
- SCRs (Tyristors or power IGBTs) - Relays are not such powerful and most of energy is wasted at their contacts
