  * LOTS of VAST capacitors (can be obtained from lots of CRTs degauss circuits)
  * Hi-voltage generators (photographic flashes, single-use cameras, degauss circuits)
  * Medium-size relays that are able to handle thousands of volts
  * Slotted optical switches (CZ: optické závory) for multi-staged coilgun
  * Wire
  * Barrel
  * Nails (and similar "ammo")

  * SCRs (Tyristors or power IGBTs) - Relays are not such powerful and most of energy is wasted at their contacts
