Lightning talks is an event that takes place at 20:00 every month on the first Thursday. Around 10 lightning talks (each around 5-10 minutes long) will shortly introduce audience to various topics. Afterwards people are free to discuss topics they got interested in. The best speaker will receive a nice T-shirt with our logo! It is similar to famous Pecha Kucha Nights or Ignite events. More info below …

How it works

  • first lightning talk starts at 20:00, please don't be late to avoid any interruptions
  • lightning talks should be between 5-10 minutes long
  • at the end of the session, audience will vote for the best lightning talk and the best speaker receives cool T-shirt with our logo!
  • you can get beverages and snacks from our bar after the last talk to make discussions even more fun!
  • There is also an opportunity for you to submit your short talk without spending too much time on talk preparation even during the LT evening but as a non-competitive submission only. It means you cannot win the prize for best talk of the event, as ti was submited to the program late.

Cool! I want to be a speaker

Space, the final frontier… Lightning talk bude obsahovat stručný úvod do práva mezinárodních prostorů a následně trochu podrobněji rozebere právo kosmického prostoru.
