We are also trying to maintain calendar of events unrelated to brmlab, but pertaining science, technology and other cool stuff: Prague Geek Calendar.

Ideas

We can give talks on various topics using the largest available room in the hackerspace. These talks should be available to non-members (so we can attract more people) and held regularly (e.g. every second Tuesday evening) with well-known schedule.

Possible topics:

Wanted topics:

  • Brief overview of OpenCV – library for computer vision, image manipulation, … (harvie can show some simple tricks like this opencv-paroubek.jpg, but nothing deep)
  • FPGA
  • social engineering
